Rex Model DD-5 Digital Durometer
The Model DD-5 digital durometer is Rex Gauge's latest innovation for performing timed hardness testing. It is an excellent instrument for critical data collection or repetitive quality control testing. Up to 200 readings can be stored and viewed inside the durometer or downloaded through the USB port.
The Model DD-5 is equipped with an internal adjustable timer and onscreen countdown that can be set to a desired elapsed time from 0-30 seconds, making measurement of creep easy and reproducible. When enabled, the timer function will be automatically activated when the presser foot meets the test specimen.
Additional features of this durable, accurate unit include a large direct drive LCD display, tolerancing, a locking feature to prevent accidental erasure of tolerances, automatic shutoff, low battery warning, and 0.1 resolution.
With these impressive capabilities, the DD-5 is truly state-of-the-art, and is the ideal instrument for lab use. Available only in Types A and D. Supplied with batteries and AC adapter; one year warranty.
